How long til i see results from P90X?

Today is day 10, which isn’t far into the program I know that, but I’m just curious when I might see some changes?
I don’t follow the diet exactly because i am 17 and my mom does the shopping, but i do eat healthy. i eat things like fish, chicken, rice, steamed veggies, salad, apples/oranges, protein shakes for breakfast, some granola bars, and i only drink water. so i feel like i’m doing pretty well with watching what i eat. plus i dont do the supplements or p90x shakes. but i do take vitamins every day.

also, i’m doing the ‘lean’ schedule for P90X because i am a girl and i aim to burn more fat than build muscle. i am 5′ 10″, 175 lbs. i just want to get rid the fat on my stomach and thighs and arms..
plus, i play lacrosse at school which is another 2 hours of cardio 5 days a week.
any tips are welcome! thanks

At this point you are still in the adaptive phase. Your body is just beginning to notice the activity you are putting it through. This generally takes place up till the end of weekŃ. Around the 4th week you will start noticing more of an “inches lost” than actual weight loss. Toward the end of the 2nd month you will start noticing the number of pounds lost significantly increase. Remember, this is a program you have to follow the schedule, skipping days and cheating especially on your diet will diminish your results.

When you turn 18, I hope you consider Coaching others with the success you got from P90X. Keep me in mind when that day comes, okay?
